Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and creative teacher to join our enthusiastic and committed team. Practitioners with a good working knowledge and understanding of KS2 are welcome to apply. ECTs are also welcome to apply. This is a one-year fixed-term post in the first instance, with the possibility of a permanent position depending on funding and future staffing structure.   • A track record of high standards in teaching, learning and behaviour management in KS2
  • The ability to use modern, dynamic teaching methods to give every child the opportunity to achieve their full potential
  • The ability to reflect and seek to improve their practice by engaging with CPD and professional feedback
  • Good organisation and communication skills enabling them to work effectively as part of a team
  • The ability to work flexibly and adapt to changes
  • A positive outlook and is solution focused
  • The ability to engage with parents and develop positive relationships with pupils and staff

Main pay scale

Start date: September 2025

Contract type: One-year temporary contract (September 2025–August 2026), with a view to permanency depending on funding and staffing needs.

Closing date: 7 July 2025

Interviews: 10 July 2025
